Jarvis Laurence is a documentarian, editor and photographer based in London. His work spans documentary, narrative, commercial and fine art photography, with a recurring interest in traditional preservation.
His documentary Portrait of Grandmother, shot in the Borneo rainforest, premiered at Peckhamplex Cinema as an official Peckham and Nunhead Film Festival selection and was covered by BBC London. His narrative short Before the Leaves Fall screened at PictureHouse Finsbury Park in 2026.
His photography has been displayed at Tate Modern and Tate Britain, and exhibited at The Camera Club's Summer Exhibition across consecutive years.
He works across documentary, branded content and editorial commissions, and has shot for clients including the British Fashion Council, Richard Quinn, Paul Costelloe, Artsy, and Under Armour.
